Face Connect
Genesis launched a world first FaceID for your car feature in 2023 and we created a hero film and social campaign highlighting a genuine albeit extreme use case for the technology…wild swimming. Shot in the middle of spring (snow was not in the original plan) we worked with former surfer and cold water swimming expert Sophie Hellyer and photographer Manuel Dietrich to produce this campaign as well as amplify it across their social channels.
Genesis Korean Connection
In late 2021 travelling to South Korea was still impossible, we wanted to celebrate Genesis’ Korean heritage and draw parallels from various other Korean craftspeople. Working with a local production partner I concepted with and oversaw remotely the entire production culminating in the final video. However, we had originally intended a different narrative flow for the story which can be seen in the directors cut version where the narrative leaned more into the philosophy of Son-Nim and the idea of paying hospitality forward.
Lifestyle Shoot 2022
In Q1 2022 Genesis had finally launched 5 models across Europe and had asked us to put together a shoot that would allow us to walk away with the maximum amount of on brand footage and imagery that could be used throughout the funnel across the rest of 2022 and beyond. Content would be predominantly used in dark formats but would also be utilised across social channels throughout 2022. Working with Photographer Tom Kahler and DOP Dan Lobo-Pires we returned from our 3 day shoot with everything we wanted and more, the first video below as conceieved and shot on location and was not part of the original shooting plan.
